Blue Man Group comes to San Diego

Blue Man Group will stop at San Diego’s Civic Theatre (3rd and B Street, Downtown SD) Sept. 20 -25, as part of Broadway/San Diego’s 35th Anniversary season. Currently, Blue Man Group theatrical shows can be seen in New York, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, Berlin, Stockholm, Viena and Tokyo. No two performances are the same, however. The San Diego shows will feature classic Blue Man moments as well as brand new content.

The Old Globe’s 2011 Shakespeare Festival jump-starts with artistic director, Adrian Noble’s, rendition of “The Tempest.” Generally acknowledged as Shakespeare’s final work, what lingers long after the show’s over happens not to be Shakespeare’s most famous words of ‘ado,’ but much more unexpectedly are the melodies and song that are interspersed with care throughout this magical production.

The newest ones out are “Battle: Los Angeles”, “Mars Needs Moms” (Both in 2D and IMAX 3D), “Paul”, “Limitless”, “The Lincoln Lawyer”, and “Red Riding Hood.” With such a strong cast of actors these movies are definitely worth going to and see.
