Movie Review: “The Woman in Black”
“The Woman in Black” is an atmospheric thriller that’s not without its fair share of flaws but in comparison with Hollywood’s affinity for pointless slasher films, it is certainly worth taking a look at. Movie Reviews: “My Week with Marilyn” and “The Iron Lady”
Michelle Williams (“Shutter Island”) is ravishing as Marilyn Monroe and masters her every mannerism. Combined with stirring music and luminous cinematography, “My Week with Marilyn” is a marvelous picture. “The Iron Lady” starring Meryl Streep, is a story about Margaret Thatcher and not so much about a history lesson, but the very personal side of the longest-serving prime minister of Britain.
